What you do

• Trim, sort and stack finished work.
• Help the printer operators: load material, take prints off the printer and keep supplies stocked.
• Help the cutter operators: take cut sheets off the cutter, break out the parts, then sort and stage them.
• Add grommets, hem and weed finished graphics.
• Help the shipping team pack, label and stage orders.
• Load and unload deliveries with the shop equipment.
• Move material and keep the work areas clean.
• Handle the graphics with care so they arrive in good condition.

What you need

• You come to work on time, every day.
• You can lift 50 lb again and again and stand for the full shift.
• You are comfortable with a tape measure and basic hand tools.
• You follow directions and ask questions when you are not sure.
• You can do more than one task at a time.

Nice to have

• Experience in a sign shop, a print shop, a warehouse or manufacturing.
• Hands-on finishing experience.
• Experience with a forklift or a pallet jack.
• Basic computer skills.

What you do

• Help customers by phone, by email and in person.
• Handle each order from the first contact through billing.
• Enter orders in ShopVOX.
• Check that each wide format order is complete and ready to print.
• Confirm the materials, finishing, quantities and dates with the customer.
• Release jobs to production and track them through the shop.
• Set up fulfillment jobs, such as shipping, kitting and labeling.
• Check finished jobs before they go out.
• Keep customers updated on their orders.
• Follow up with vendors and shipping partners.
• Bill completed orders.
• Release finished jobs to customers at pickup.
• Find problems in artwork or specifications before a job goes to production.
• Keep clear job notes in ShopVOX.
• Follow company procedures for exceptions and rush orders.
• Help the team where they need you.

What you need

• At least 5 years in wide format printing, sign production or a related fulfillment job.
• Knowledge of wide format materials: vinyl, banner, coroplast, foam board, PVC, aluminum and specialty substrates.
• Knowledge of production methods: roll-to-roll, flatbed, contour cutting, routing, lamination and mounting.
• Experience with order entry and fulfillment.

What you do

• Set up and run the label presses for each job: mount plates, install anilox rollers, load ink and set up dies.
• Watch the print quality and make adjustments.
• Find and fix problems to keep quality high and waste low.
• Run finishing: inline rotary die cutting, lamination, slitting and waste stripping.
• Complete the paperwork for each job.
• Keep the team updated on the status of each job.
• Maintain and clean the press.
• Keep the work area organized and safe.

What you need

• 1 to 3 years of experience running a flexographic label press. Narrow web experience is strongly preferred.
• You can set up the press components from the start.
• You have a strong eye for color, register and sharpness.
• You can read and follow production specifications.
• You are reliable, on time and able to work on your own.

Nice to have

• Experience on a Mark Andy press.
• Experience with a digital hybrid press workflow.
• Experience with pressure-sensitive label stock.
• Experience with UV or water-based flexo inks.
• Basic mechanical skills.
